Intermediate (50-70) Division Information

The division is open to league-age 12&13 and utilizes 50-foot pitching distance and 70-foot base paths. Note:  If your child is league age 12 and selects 50/70 Intermediate division, they will not be eligible to play in Major division.  50/70 Intermediate division offers a transition between the standard Little League field size (46-foot pitching distance and 60-foot base paths) and the Junior field size (60-foot pitching distance and 90-foot base paths).  Many of the Junior League rules will be used such as runners being permitted to lead off bases, and runners may attempt to steal at any time.  Games will be seven innings.

Tryouts (Spring Ball Only)

Tryout Information COMING SOON. *ALL MINOR-AA, MINOR-AAA, MAJORS, INTERMEDIATE AND JUNIOR PLAYERS MUST ATTEND TRYOUTS.*

Hit-a-Thon (Spring Ball Only)

The Board has elected to continue focusing fundraising efforts on the Hit-a-Thon. Registration fees do not fully cover the cost of running the league. Unfortunately in the past, some families have viewed different fundraising efforts as optional, so we are now requiring each family to purchase a pledge of $25 per player as a deposit towards each players Hit-a-Thon account. Players will then be eligible to generate further pledges and allow them the opportunity to win prizes based on the total amount of Hit-a-Thon pledges earned.  Additional details on the prizes and the breakdown to be provided at a future date.

Volunteer Policy

The Board has elected to adopt a Volunteer Policy (link here) requiring families to volunteer a minimum of ten hours (per family). One $150 check (per family) made out to TCLL must be submitted prior to receiving uniforms. The check will be destroyed or returned after the requirement has been met. Operating a successful league requires numerous volunteers.

Reminder for Junior Division / High School Players

Any high school player that is planning to play in the Junior division at TCLL at the conclusion of the high school season MUST register by and attend tryouts.

Draft Method for Majors, Minor-AAA, and Minor-AA (Spring Ball Only) (Fall Ball does not have a draft, Fall teams are created by request)

Drafting of players occurs at the Minor-AA and above levels. The Majors draft occurs first, followed by the AAA, then the AA draft. Teams are re-drafted each season. Players league age 12 must be drafted to Majors, age 11 must be drafted to AAA or higher, age 10 must be drafted to AA or higher. Players not drafted after the Majors, AAA, and AA drafts will be placed on a Minor-A (Single-A) team.
